when Halewood International Holdings PLC (UK) purchased a small drinks company. Since its humble beginnings it has become one of the fastest growing alcohol beverage manufacturers in South Africa, with a national distribution network, and state of the art production facility.
Halewood International South Africa currently manufactures a wide range of premium award-winning alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Our product range includes Red Square Drinks,
Caribbean Twist, SHAP SHAP Cider, Sidekick Cream Liqueurs, Crabbie’s alcoholic and non-alcoholic ginger beers, Skinny Diva, Junky Energy Drinks as well as
Whitley Neill Gin.
Our most recent additions include Red Square
7 times distilled 100% pure grain superior vodka (regular and flavoured), Caribbean Twist White and Superior Spiced rums, The Pogues Irish Whiskey, West Cork Irish Whiskey as well as Lambrini.

Halewood International South Africa boasts an experienced countrywide sales and brands ambassador force which are wholly capable of readily servicing liquor wholesalers and retailers on a continuous basis.
Halewood International South Africa boasts a very diverse local marketing department which thoroughly grasps their core market. Some of our regular marketing activities include general promotions, sponsoring of some of South Africa’s most prominent music and other festivals such as the Rage Festival, Plett Rage Student Festival, Rocking the Daisies, Back To The City Festival and so forth as well as a dedicated brand-specific social media drive.
The local manufacturing plant and head offices of Halewood International South Africa is located in Benoni, Gauteng. We have several distribution depots nationwide in the major city centres as well as in smaller towns which allows us to effectively penetrate and adequately serve the South African market. Our locally manufactured beverages are also exported to various African countries such as Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi and Angola to name but a few as well as to the Far East.
