The inspiration behind the Skilpadtepel name stems from a farm of the same name, nestled in the heart of an enchanting landscape. However, the origins of this name also find their roots in a song by the renowned Afrikaans singer Adam Tas. This harmonious synergy of nature and music forms the essence of Skilpadtepel, where the spirit of the land and the soul of music converge. This gin is a unique creation of juniper notes, coriander, orange and Chinese pea flower – the latter which gives it its distinctive dark purple colour.
