Hasenrache
Hasenrache
Hasenrache is German for “Rabbit’s Revenge”. Just like all hunters have stories to tell of traditions and legends, Hasenrache is no exception.
The story goes as follows: When the world was small and people were few, a wicked hunter caught a golden hare. The hare begged for his life, but the hunter refused until the hare offered him a taste of his secret brew and the euphoria that came with it. The warmth of anise, nutmeg and cinnamon coursed through the hunter’s veins, and when it faded, he awoke consumed by desire for another drop on his lips.
We worked for years until we could bottle this euphoric herbal liqueur. Now the question is: “Are you brave enough to be consumed by desire?”
Enjoy this dark herbal liqueur ice cold – best served at -18 degrees Celsius. It is ultra smooth and full-flavoured with complex notes of liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a lingering aftertaste of aniseed.
